My hometown is a place that grows bamboo. People use bamboo for household tools, including the sticks parents use to hit their kids. My generation grew up under 'corporal punishment'. Violence came in the form of physical and verbal. This work was developed around the bamboo stick. As I open up my inner world and struggles, the story ends in a rush as that familiar sound comes close again.
